DR. SARA CADALIG DSW, LCSW
Dr. Sara Cadalig is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and has worked in the social work field in a variety of settings (schools, government, non-profit, and community agencies) helping people work through obstacles that block their access to happiness, fulfillment, and success. Dr. Sara's philosophy is based on empowering communities through education, resources, and community support. Her broad experience over the years includes community organizing, program development, workshop facilitation, and mental health services. Dr. Sara is certified in Mindfulness Meditation and Affiliate Teacher through Heart-Mind Education. She is also the co-author of the "Tools for Well-being" and CR2CLE (Catalysts Redefining Resilient Communities and Leadership Excellence) Executive Leadership Programs. Dr. Sara teaches these programs which are implemented at Merced County. She is also a business partner at Wellness Options LLC www.wellnessoptionsllc.com. Since 2012, Dr. Sara has been providing mental health services to children, adolescents, adults, and families. Dr. Sara has a private practice in Northern California. YVONNE BERENGUER MSW, CPC
Yvonne Berenguer has over 16 years of teaching experience in the Masters of Social Work program at CSU Stanislaus State. She is certified in Mindfulness Meditation and a certified Mindfulness Affiliate Teacher through Heart-Mind Education and Life Coach. She has been qualified by the Gottman Institute to teach the "Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work" and "Bringing Baby Home" curriculum. Since 2014, Yvonne has been engaged in promoting individual and organizational wellness. She has taught workshops using mindfulness-based tools to university students, private businesses, and county staff. Yvonne is the founder of Wellness Options LLC. She is the co-author of the “Tools for Well-Being” curriculum, which incorporates mindfulness, compassion, gratitude, creativity, and positive psychology as tools to enhance personal well-being and resilience. She is also the co-author of the CR2CLE (Catalysts Redefining Resilient Communities and Leadership Excellence) Executive Leadership Programs. Yvonne teaches these programs that are currently implemented at Merced County and studied through CSUS. In her spare time, she loves to write non-fiction and poetry. Most recently, she has completed the writing of her book "Do-Overs: Staying open to life's lessons on love, loss and 2nd chances," which is in the review process for publication:
